Core plugins:
Remark: I do not make use of Akismet, I use Antispam for all fields (somtimes combined with WP-SpamFree) instead.
I also don't make use of any cache plugins and all in 1 seo pack is replaced by Tags 2 Meta Generator, Google XML Sitemaps + a robots.txt file. Alltough if I want flexibility I still use all in 1 seo, but still in combination with the sitemaps and robots.txt.

Peter's Login Redirect / Redirect

Redirect Parent to First Child
This plugin will do a 301 redirect on top-level parent pages, to their first child page, based first on menu order, then post title if no menu order is set. It only redirects if a *published* child page actually exists.
